When my son was four he was completely Toy Story obsessed! He must have watched the Toy Story movies about a million times. Woody was his favorite character and he loved to pretend he was a cowboy surrounded by all the Toy Story characters.
I loved creating this Toy Story birthday party for another little boy who shared the same love for the Disney movies. I had tons of ideas for party decorations and favors and I’m so excited that it all came together so well.
Toy Story Birthday Party Decorations
Using a primary palette I created this Toy Story banner out of construction paper and scrapbook paper. I used my Cricut machine to cut out the letters and shapes. The character circles I pulled from clip-art online.
For the table centerpiece I found these plastic boxes in red, yellow and blue. The were perfect for the centerpiece I made. I attached the same circles I used for the banner to sticks and taped them to the tower of boxes.

Toy Story Aliens Favor Bags
These are my favorite out of all the party designs I made for this theme! I mean, how cute are those little aliens. I used circle punches to create the eyes and then I hand cut the shapes for the mouth and collar. More of those Dollar Tree boxes and party tissue.
Woody Toy Story
The birthday boy in his Woody costume! We had a dress-up area where the kids could put on cowboy hats or get their faces painted.

I love using character toys for party decorations when it’s a popular character theme like this one. You can find them on Amazon and they are also a great gift to give the birthday boy or girl after the party is over. Parent’s love that the decoration expense actually ends up being something their kids can keep and play with.
Toy Story Cake and Cupcakes
I created these custom cupcake toppers and punched them out with my hole puncher. I found the Toy Story cupcake stand online. Georgetown cupcakes for the win! Because who doesn’t love their cupcakes. I have dreams about them sometimes!

Toy Story Games
Since the age range for this party was 3 to 5 I wanted to set-up a few party stations where the kids could play and have fun, but nothing too rowdy or overly organized. So we set-up a few easy Toy Story themed party games. I found this ring toss game at the Dollar Tree.
Toy Story coloring pages and easy foam puzzles on a vinyl tablecloth make an easy, breezy preschool play area.
I found those chalkboards at the Dollar Tree also. They worked out great for labeling each station.
Buzz Lightyear Toys
This Buzz Lightyear action figure was a big hit with all the kids! They took turns blasting off into outerspace with Buzz and loved hearing him to say “to infinity and beyond!” Makes a great gift for four year old boys or girls!
