First Birthday Party Ideas – A Bright and Fun First Birthday!!
This year has been all about first birthday parties for me so far! Â I’ve been crazy busy with party after party, but it’s been so much fun working on new party themes and cute new designs.
Last weekend I styled this Bright and Fun First Birthday Party for Josh, an adorable little blue eyed munchkin.  A few years ago I worked with Josh’s mommy, Lisa to create a pretty all pink party for his sister Emily’s first birthday.  Emily’s party was fabulous, lots of cute details,  and Lisa wanted to go all-out for Josh’s birthday as well.  She told me she envisioned bright colors, patterns and baby elephants.  We chose a color scheme of aqua and turquoise blues, sunshine yellow and lime green.

We set-up the dessert table in the breakfast room to take advantage of the great lighting, lots and lots of big windows. Â I wanted the colors to really pop so I kept the table cover a basic white with just a chevron aqua blue table runner down the middle. Â Tissue poms and big balloons with tassel garland made a perfect backdrop.
These mini elephant cookies from A Little Sweeter were super cute!
